This listing is for the full 52 Weeks of Yarn Club for 2023. This will consist of 52 mini skeins of 20g in 4ply fingering weight along with 52 tonal/semi-solid skeins totalling 104 minis.
These will be split up into mini packs sent monthly across 12 months. January will have 10 minis, February will have 8 minis and so on dependent on the amount of weeks in each month. They will dispatch in the second half of each month.
The 52 main colour mini skeins will be inspired by popular science fiction, horror or fantasy through reference to many books, TV shows, films, podcasts and more.
I will include 2 free mini skeins with this purchase, one at the beginning of the club and one at the end - the intention here is they are to be used for the cast on and cast off of a blanket which is what this club yarn will be designed to make. I am personally knitting the Melting Marl Blanket by Westknits but you’re welcome to make your own choice.
This listing is costed at £4 per mini skein - as of January 2023 I will be increasing my prices to £5 per mini skein. Purchasing the entire club now ensures you’re making a saving on 2023’s prices.
This listing also includes a fixed rate postal fee of £4 per month x 12. This is £0.45 cheaper than the current date of a first class parcel through Royal Mail and I wouldn’t be surprised if this charge raised throughout 2023 - by purchasing this listing now you lock in the postal fee you pay and I will commit to making the difference.
There will be an immense amount of work involved in this project, and up front cost to me as a small business owner, please understand this listing is non-refundable as a result - this is standard across my dye-to-order listings.
The 4ply Fingering Weight is 100g, 420m of 75% merino wool 25% nylon.
My yarn is hand-dyed using professional acid dyes. Due to the nature of hand-dyeing no two skeins will be alike however I do take evert effort to ensure colour ways are consistent. If you are looking for a greater quantity and want to ensure best chances of consistency please get in touch to arrange a custom order. I would recommend this if ordering quantities greater than 3.
I ensure each skein is washed after dyeing to ensure water runs clear, little dye running may remain however so I do recommend you take care when washing any finished objects. I recommend a gentle wool wash and cold water, do not rub the yarn aggressively as this may felt it unintentionally. Reshape finished objects whilst damp and lay flat.
My yarn is hand-washed with a gentle wool wash before shipping.
