Taking inspiration from everything I’ve learned in the last five years of dyeing yarn and creating new colourways, I am creating mini skein sets of ten colourways moving through the colours within a rainbow.
The first set is PINK - the ten colourways here will explore the colour pink in many ways through tonal, speckled and variegated techniques.
75/25 SW merino/nylon 4ply is 20g and has 84m per skein x 10.
75/25 SW merino/nylon 4ply is 10g and has 42m per skein x 10.
75/25 SW merino/nylon DK is 20g and has 48m per skein x 10.
My yarn is hand-dyed using professional acid dyes. Due to the nature of hand-dyeing no two skeins will be alike however I do take evert effort to ensure colour ways are consistent. If you are looking for a greater quantity and want to ensure best chances of consistency please get in touch to arrange a custom order. I would recommend this if ordering quantities greater than 3.
I ensure each skein is washed after dyeing to ensure water runs clear, little dye running may remain however so I do recommend you take care when washing any finished objects. I recommend a gentle wool wash and cold water, do not rub the yarn aggressively as this may felt it unintentionally. Reshape finished objects whilst damp and lay flat.

This product listing is only for the mini skeins, and will not include any of the additional parts typically included with an advent (such as the box, individual wrapping, extras etc).
This theme takes inspiration from merfolk returning home after having spent time on the shore. Each of the 24 minis will represent the journey from the beach to the depths of the ocean.
The minis form a cohesive gradient fade, with speckling throughout which will provide depth.
There will not be a specific pattern included, however the minis in this advent will be suitable for a wide range of projects such as shawls, garments such as cardigans, sweaters etc. I’ll be making recommendations closer to the time of revealing the colours and will be making my own project which will also be an example of what can be done with the colours.
